Mara Gamble

BS, NASM-CPT, Kettlebell Lvl1, FMSLvl 1 & 2

Mara started with FFC in 2012 as a certified personal trainer, promoted to gym manager in 2015 after receiving her BS in Business Management from FGCU, and has now been the proud owner of Florida Fitness Coaches since 2017.  She has spent 14 years in the fitness industry between her training as a competitive gymnastics coach and currently a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

After spending 6 years of successfully training and competing young aspiring gymnasts, Mara switched her direction of interest towards healthy lifestyle education for adults, including fitness and nutrition coaching.  Her mission as owner of FFC is to offer a fun a POSITIVE environment where individuals of all backgrounds, capabilities, and fitness levels can learn, excel, achieve goals, and create a LIFE-LONG healthy and fitness habits.

The two areas in which Mara specializes are weight loss  coaching and functional movement training.  With Level 1 and 2 Certifications for FMS (Functional Movement Screening), and years study in the area, Mara is able to customized programs for clients with faulty movement patterns, asymmetries, extreme muscle tightness/weakness, and misalignments which often result in constant minor body aches and pains.   Other areas of focus include nutrition coaching, increasing sport performance, power-lifting, and general fitness improvement.

Outside of the club Mara is also a full-time “toddler-mom” to her son Declan, and loves to stay active, helping him grow, learn, and play every day!  She loves the beach, being outdoors, anything “crafty” or creative, competing in local 5K’s, and participating in both Spartan and Tough Mudder races.
