I love this. We hear this all the time, I have been working out 3 days a week for a month and I’m still not in shape yet – I’ve only lost 1 pound!

Wow an entire month?

If I practice something new for an entire month do I expect to a be a pro? No, I don’t but for some reason when it comes to fat loss doing something for a month means I should lose 20 pounds.

There are a couple things to cover here:
1. Exercise is not best for fat loss
2. I don’t care what it is but anything new for one month doesn’t solve anything in life

Dan John said this a long time ago about fat loss and I think he nailed it, if you want to lose fat and get in shape you have to attack it for 30 days like your life depended on it.

Fat loss is not easy, it’s simple but not easy.

Fat loss starts with nutrtion. What is right for you? Low calorie?Paleo?Vegan?

If you want to lose fat it takes a commitment to eating healthy 90% of the time and moving your ass.

Here is the formula:
1. Proper nutrition
2. Strength Training
3. Metabolic work
4. Daily moving

Simple, right? Most people believe it or not have no problem with 2-4 but #1 is a problem.

There are many reason but a few are, social events, addicted to sugar, lack of knowledge, etc.

I think it starts with not knowing what is right for you and recognizing what you are doing is not working. Some people will not admit that.

If you could eat food that made you feel good, lose weight, and enjoy life would you do it? Of course you would.

I am here to tell you it’s possible.
